I had a Howe custom-built for my car for about $200, and it was a good investment. Although I didn't have an overheating problem, it did lower my coolant temps significantly. Before the Howe, my car would run about 190 on the interstate, with mid-summer temps of about 90. After the Howe, temps will go no higher than about 170, and would probably run cooler if not for the thermostat keeping the temps up. Check out my profile, you'll see that I've subjected the car to some pretty hard driving in hot environments, and temps have never climbed higher than 210. I am positive that I would have overheated with the stock radiator. Admittedly, if you just drive around town looking for the occasional street race, then you might not need it. If you drive hard occassionally, it's good insurance. RSR
